Shamrock Shuffle Winners Announced

Friends of the Lewis County Library is excited to announce the winners of the first annual Shamrock Shuffle 5K and 1 Mile Fun Run/Walk, held on Saturday, March 16, 2024.

Winners of the 1 Mile Fun Run/Walk were: Aubrey Pfaff, 1st place 0-12 year olds; Riley Jones, 2nd place 0-12 year olds; Jacob Brandon, 1st place 12+ year olds; Kristin Siever, 2nd place 12+ year olds.

Winners of the 5K Run were: Sam Fellers, 1st place 0-16 year old male; Drew Fellers, 2nd place 0-16 year old male; Shay Simpson, 1st place 0-16 year old female; Dakota Watts, 1st place 17-25 year old male; Destinye Runions, 1st place 17-25 year old female; EmmaLeigh Smith, 2nd place 17-25 year old female; Darren Thomas, 1st place 26-39 year old male; Ashley Forrester, 1st place 26-39 year old female; Carolyn Yoder, 2nd place 26-39 year old female; William Wade, 1st place 40-55 year old male; Todd Montgomery, 2nd place 40-55 year old male; Adrianne Pfaff, 1st place 40-55 year old female; Andrea Yeiser, 2nd place 40-55 year old female; Barry Fraser, 1st place 56+ male; Virginia Brewer, 1st place 56+ female. Overall 5K male winner was William Wade and overall female winner was Destinye Runions. More than 80 people were present for the race, which had a registration of 62 participants.

Friends of the Lewis County Library is grateful to the sponsors of the 2024 Shamrock Shuffle: Highland Corporation, Jones Hometown Healthmart Pharmacy, Summertown Metals, Allison Tanner – Auctioneer & Realtor, and The Shop Screen Printing & Vinyl Signs. Additional donors included: Zaxby's, Taco Bell, UT Extension – Lewis County, Shoe Sensation, and Security Finance. The Shamrock Shuffle 5K and 1 Mile Fun Run/Walk was held to benefit the Lewis County Public Library and Archives expansion fund.
