Agnes Holden went home to be with her Lord on March 28, 2024, in Canton, Michigan, at the age of 97. She was born on August 26, 1926, in Hohenwald, to the late Desmon Huggins and Pauline Pennington Huggins.

Her days were often spent in the tranquility of her garden or the focused calm of sewing, she crafted countless quilts that warmed both bodies and hearts. Agnes's love for canning vegetables was matched only by her joy in sharing them with friends and neighbors. A devout reader of her Bible, she found strength and solace in its passages every day.
