On Saturday, March 30th, Lewis County, Elks Lodge # 2883 held the spring turkey shoot. There was a great turnout for the fun and lots of winners. Over $800 in prizes was donated by many local businesses including Tracie and Dave Saylor, Tracie's Mobile Kitchen, AutoZone, O'Reillys, A&E Automotive, John's Tires, Trumley's Automotive, Herrin Service Center, and NAPA.

Big shoot winners for the day were Danny Hinson, Bob Prager, Don Paul, Briar Sharp, Cody Mathis, Trace Turner, Derek Holt, Rodney Walker, Ralph Skelton and Kirby Walmsley. This event is open to the public and all are invited to participate. Proceeds from the event are used to fund various lodge and community needs throughout the year.
