Lewis County Girl Scouts


The Lewis County Girl Scouts that were able to view the spectacular 2024 Solar Eclipse on April 8th, had more fun discussing the actual event and what it meant to each of them. Each girl was able to look through the specially made eclipse glasses, in the dark and with a flashlight shining toward the lenses, to see the difference.

They made working models to show the moon passing in front of the sun as a fun craft project and watched a short video explaining how it happens and the difference between the solar and lunar eclipses.
