The Lewis County Middle School Lady Panthers softball team opened their regular season at Memorial Park hosting the Santa Fe Unit School Lady Wildcats on Thursday, February 27, 2020.
Addie Morgan took the mound for the Lady Panthers and made quick work of the Lady Wildcat batter, retiring the side in order with a popup and 2 groundouts.
In the Lewis County half of the first, Lady Panther batters showed a patient eye at the plate taking 7 straight walks before Sophie Stutts connected for a 2-run single followed by a Morgan RBI single.
