Annie Ruth Brown Scott was born June 27, 1943 in Wayne County, the daughter of the late Walter and Flora Johns Brown. She was united in marriage to Tobe Junior Scott on December 26, 1960. Mr. Scott preceded her in death on September 14, 2013. Mrs. Scott departed this life on May 22, 2020 in Columbia, making her stay in this life some 76 years, 10 months and 25 days.

She is survived by a son, Carl Scott of Hohenwald; two daughters, Gina Scott of Waverly and Dana Scott of Hohenwald; two sisters, Betty James (Joe) and Martha Hensley of Hohenwald; and a brother, Dale Brown (Amy) of Hohenwald....
