The Lewis County High School Panthers put their perfect, undefeated record on the line Friday as they hosted the Region 6AAA Camden Lions at Bobby W. Sharp Stadium.
The Panthers struck first, midway through the first quarter, when Blake Carroll evaded the Lion defense enroute to a 15-yard touchdown run. Carroll added the point after attempt to give Lewis County a 7-0 lead in the first.
The Lions would only gain 37 yards of offense in the first quarter as the Panther defense held firm.
