Rodney Davis

Rodney Earl Davis, age 77, passed away November 16, 2020 at Williamson Medical Center with complications from Covid-19.

Mr. Davis of Hohenwald was born March 21, 1943 in Shattuck, Oklahoma, the son of the late Leroy Earl Davis and Josephine Mildred Furse Davis.

He was united in marriage to Audrey Kaye Warner on January 4, 1964 and January 4, 2009.

He was a lifetime member of the National Rifle Association.

He is survived by his wife, Audrey Kaye Davis of Hohenwald; three daughters, Alice Davis Farris (John) of Hohenwald, Elizabeth Davis Quillen (Keith) of Waynesboro, and Sandra Davis Morgan (Gerald) of Lawrenceburg; grandchildren, Samantha Whitt Bradley (Jared), Kyle Quillen (Laci) and Bryan Perry; great-grandchildren, Jackson Brown, Jorja Bradley, Jett Bradley, Knox Dabbs, and Jaye Bradley; two step-children, Joshua Creasy (Rosa) and Jamie Hendrix Smith; special family members, David Pullen and Don Whitt. He had many beloved cousins, nieces, and nephews. He loved his family and all he ever wanted was his family together and spending time with each other.

In addition to his parents, Mr. Davis was preceded in death by one granddaughter, Sunny Davis Whitt, on June 29, 2020.

Service was held Thursday, November 19, 2020 at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of Adair Funeral & Cremation Services with Joshua Adair officiating. Burial followed in Lewis County Memorial Gardens in Hohenwald.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations may be given to St. Jude and/or the High Forest Animal Shelter.
