Owen McCrory Derryberry, Jr., of the Totty’s Bend Community, was born January 26, 1929, in Detroit, Michigan, to Owen McCrory Derryberry, Sr. and Ethel Talley Derryberry and died February 12, 2021, at the age of 92 years.
In addition to his parents, Mr. Derryberry was preceded in death by his wife, Barbara Ann Derryberry; daughter Nancy Derryberry; and sister Dorothy Walters.
Mr. Derryberry is survived by his sons, Thomas Murray Derryberry of Duck River and Robert Steven Derryberry of California; three grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
Mr. Derryberry was an insurance broker for many years and was a veteran of the United States Navy.
Graveside services for Mr. Derryberry were held Saturday, February 20, 2021, at Charles L. Nickell Memorial Park.
