Bobby Frazier

1954 ~ 2021 (age 66)

On the evening of July 27, 2021 Bobby Frazier peacefully passed away after a courageous fight against cancer. He was born in Hohenwald on November 9, 1954 to the late Guy Boyd and Julia Mae Whitehead Frazier.

Being the jack of all trades, he dabbled in many lines of work. Most of his career involved him taking to the road as a truck driver. After leaving the trucking business, he owned and operated many car lots in South Georgia while also helping to clear land and clean up local farms. His happy place was at home on the farm tending to his cows and horses, riding his tractors, or going to the shop to hang out with friends to discuss the days events. There was never a dull moment in the shop when all the boys were around. He was a dedicated family man who always put family first. He loved them with all his heart and made sure they knew it.

Mr. Frazier is survived by his wife, Janice Marie Carey Frazier; children, Bret Frazier (Audrey), Bobby "Little Bobby" Frazier (Tonneka), Sylvia Ellis, Misty Thaxton, Sonya Frazier, and Brae Staller; grandchildren, Mayleigh Rose Frazier, Axel Frazier, Slade Frazier, Alyvia Frazier, Lathan Frazier, Jessica Thaxton, John Barden, Jarrod Beggs, Savannah Frazier, Urijah Staller, Joseph Daniel Sutton, and Amber Rogers (Allen). Bobby is also survived by his great-grandchildren, Braylee McFarland and Adeline Rogers; and his siblings, Jerry Frazier, Donny Frazier, Ronny Frazier, Sandie Frazier, Dorothy Frazier, and Maxine Frazier.

Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by his siblings, Virginia Prince, Shirley Lindsey, Mabel Frazier, Wanda Swaw, Linda Floccari, Martha Hamm, Robert Wesley Frazier, Boyd Frazier, Sunny Frazier, and Irene Morris.

Visitation with family and friends was Friday, July 30 with services at 1:00 p.m. in the chapel of Adair Funeral and Cremation Services. Burial followed the funeral service at Napier Cemetery with Bro. Rex Reed officiating.
