Well it is a cool fall moring here in our little valley, there is overcast clouds and a good breeze blowing, and the leaves are falling. The cats are all curled up on their beds napping.

I have got my cup of good hot coffee and I almost need a blanket here on the swing. Before long I will be inside sitting next to the fire in the old wood heating stove, now that will be nice too.

I didn’t get the vegtable soup canned last week, but I did can pears and made several jars of pear preserves. Our daughter and son in law brought us two bushels of pears so you know I’ve been busy. But I will...
