John Ellis, 89, of Hohenwald, passed away on Thursday, October 21, 2021, at the Reserve in Spring Hill.

John was born on August 1, 1932, to Jewell Ophir Ellis and Jennie V (Skelton) Ellis at his home on the edge of Wayne County. He grew up and made Hohenwald his life-long residence. John was married to Dorothy Faye (Williams) Ellis until her unexpected passing in 1958. Years later, he married Janie Louise (Brewer) Ellis. They were married until her passing in 2020.
