Animalogy visits Lewis County Library

 

Lewis County Public Library and Archives met with Shawna from Animalogy for a fun program with live animals. Attendees met a uromastyx lizard from Asia and learned how it pretends to be poisonous, but is really harmless. Next a Gila monster made an appearance, and Shawna shared how, while they are venomous, the venom is actually beneficial for diabetes treatment.
