On August 24, 2022, Charlene Michelle Alender Vaughn unexpectedly passed away at her Linden home at the age of 42. Charlene was born in Litchfield, Illinois on January 11, 1980, to Michael Raymond Alender and Debra Ann Miller.

Along with her parents, Charlene leaves behind to cherish her memory her husband, Lamont Vaughn; children, Jalea Sparks, Curtlen Sparks, Adria Alender, Lamont Vaughn Jr., and Serenity Vaughn; grandfather, Raymond Alender; and her siblings Angela Anderson, Maggie Scurlock, Holly Mix, Shauna Berry, Tabitha Baugh, and Jerry Baugh.
