James (Jimmy) Gary Allen Jr., recently of Hohenwald, passed away on Friday, August 26, 2022 at his residence in Florence, Alabama. He was born May 11, 1967 in Fort Lauderdale, Florida.

Jimmy moved to Hohenwald in 1984 where he and his family established Twin Cedar Logging in 1985. He worked there until moving to Florence, Alabama in 2020.

He is survived by his only loving son, Evan Allen of Collinwood; his loving parents, Betty Allen and Jim Allen and fiance Judy Burton; and siblings, Kevin Allen and Amy and Shawn Hale, all of Hohenwald and Jeff (Christy) Allen of Collinwood.

Visitation will be held Friday, September 2, 2022 at 12:00 noon followed by services at 1:00 p.m. at Adair Funeral and Cremation Services.
