On Friday September 16, 2022, Retha Louise Dabbs Nelson, 86, passed away at Countryside Rehabilitation Center in Lawrenceburg. She was born in Lewis County to the late Eurmon and Rozena Mathis Dabbs on October 9, 1935. Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Paul Nelson; her son, Terry Hinson; daughters, Elizabeth Sanders and Cynthia Pope.
Ms. Retha is survived by her son, Gary Hinson; siblings, Joy Reeves and Jackie Dabbs; nine grandchildren, 25 great-grandchildren, and five great-great grandchildren.
