Kathy Thomason of Hohenwald, passed peacefully at her home on Wednesday, October 5, 2022, at the age of 71.

Kathy was born on June 24, 1951, to J.W. & Bertha (Long) Gray in Lawrence County.

She is survived by her daughter, Jennifer Mathis; son, Scotty Thomason; grandsons, William Marsh, Dustin Thomason, Cody Thomason, Dillion Thomason, David Mathis, Jr., Zack Thomason; granddaughter, Hannah Mathis; great-grandson, Hudson Laws; brothers, Mick Gray, Larry Gray, Gaylon Gray; and sister, Melinda Corbin.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Roger Thomason; son, Jeff Thomason; great-granddaughter, Alaia Laws; and her parents.

Graveside services were held on Saturday, October 8, in the Hinson Cemetery in Perry County.

McDonald Funeral Home Hohenwald assisted the family with arrangements.
