The Lewis County Middle School Lady Panthers and Panthers hosted the Richland Lady Raiders and Raiders on Monday night, November 21.

It was "White Out" night at LCMS and the Lady Panthers were hoping to sweep the season series with the Lady Raiders. Richland took a 5-1 lead midway through the first quarter and the Lady Panthers were able to cut it to a 5-4 game as time expired in the period.

Down 7-4 the Lady Panthers got consecutive baskets from Jazzy Conner and Jaelin Baugh to take the lead at 8-7 and outscored the visitors 5-3 to close out the first half with a 13-10 lead.

Richland would start the second half with a pair of three pointers to reclaim the lead at 16-15 and would add to their lead to go into the fourth quarter up by 2, 21-19.

With Richland up by four, the Lady Panthers would storm back and take a 25-23 lead midway through the final period. Richland would score the game's final four points to edge out the Lady Panthers 30-29.

Jazzy Conner had 14 points, 8 rebounds, 2 assists, and 2 steals in the loss, B.B. Smith added 9 points, 3 rebounds, and a steal, Haylee Carroll 4 points, 4 rebounds, 4 steals, and 2 blocks, Jaelin Baugh 2 points, 6 rebounds, a steal, and a block, and Paisley Kellogg 2 rebounds.

The Panthers would come out on fire to start the boys' matchup, hoping to take both games on the season with the Raiders. Lewis County would shut out the Raiders in the first six minutes of play, sprinting out to a 14-0 lead with Maddox Tanner accounting for 12 points in the quarter.

Richland would bounce back early in the second period, going on an 11-2 run to cut the Panther lead to 5, but the Panthers would hold on to a 19-13 lead at halftime.

After the halftime break, the pace of the game slowed as neither team could get into their offensive rhythm. The Pantehrs were able to extend their lead by the end of the third at 28-17.

Tanner, Dakota Hull, and Phenix McDonald accounted for 5 straight points to start the final period, extending the Lewis County lead to 36-17. Richland tried to climb back, but the Panthers would cruise to a 41-27 win at home.

Maddox tanner had 23 points, 3 steals, and a rebound, Dakota Hull 8 points, 5 rebounds, 4 assists, a steal, and a block, Bo banks 7 points, 4 rebounds, 4 assists, 1 steal, and 1 block, Phenix McDonald 3 points, 1 rebound, 1 assist, and 2 steals, Kobe Feichtinger a rebound, 2 steals, and 2 assists, and Brodie Unger a steal.
