Earnest “Russ” Murphy, 56, of Carthage, Mississippi, a retired motorman, died on Sunday, February 19, 2023 at his home.

Mr. Murphy was a native of Leake County and a member of Nile Church of Christ. He loved trapping, hunting, and fishing.
