The 4th great-granddaughter of Dr. Antoine Saugrain

The 4th great-granddaughter of Dr. Antoine Saugrain, Char Ollinger Waughtel, spoke about her famous ancestor and his connection to Lewis and Clark at the Lewis County Public Library and Archives on Saturday, April 15, 2023. This event was one of many Lewis and Clark Lectures held at the library in conjunction with “Reimagining America: The Maps of Lewis and Clark,” a traveling exhibit on display at the Hohenwald Depot through May 6th.
