Grand Opening Held at Buffalo River Public Access Point

A Grand Opening and Ribbon Cutting ceremony was recently held at the Buffalo River Blueway Public Access Point at the Mouth of Grinders Creek. The event celebrated the successful completion of a major economic development project led by Lewis County Government and the Hohenwald/Lewis County Chamber of Commerce. Over $100,000 was invested in this project by the State of Tennessee, which included the purchase and development of 4.5 acres of land, as well as the construction of a new gravel road, parking lot and concrete boat ramp.
