Thompson named LCMS principal

Lewis County Schools has announced Renee Thompson as Principal at Lewis County Middle School. Mrs. Thompson has been employed at Lewis County Middle School for the past 30 years. While at the middle school, she has worked as a special education teacher in sixth, seven, and eighth grades and as sixth grade ELA teacher.

Mrs. Thompson also helped coach softball, volleyball, and was cheerleading coach for a time. Mrs. Thompson enjoyed working with the Honors Club and sponsoring the talent show at the middle school. Mrs. Thompson served as assistant principal for the past two years.
