Rock The Lot

People from all around came out in droves to celebrate the Fourth of July on Saturday night in The Lot for the fifth annal “Rock The Lot”. Approximately 3600 people attended the event.

Many danced to the tunes of the acclaimed band World Turning with their tribute to Fleetwood Mac, while others sat in their lawn chairs and listened. Kids were able to play games, take a turn on the inflatable waterslides, have balloon animals made, get their faces painted and take photos in the fun photo stands. Plenty of good food was available from food vendors for attendees to enjoy.

Those who attended could also hop on the City of Hohenwald’s Lewis and Clarke Express train for a spin around town.

A spectacular fireworks show was enjoyed by all to end the night.

Sponsors for the community event included Friends of the Lewis County Public Library, the City of Hohenwald, Adair Funeral and Cremation Service, The Main Office, McDonald Funeral Home, Peoples Bank, Jones Hometown Pharmacy, South Central Area Fair, Attorney Michael Hinson, Real Milk Paint Company, Bank of Lewis County, Bowen Home Center, Good Vibes Gift Shop, Lazy Dog Tax Service, The Shop, Pizza Hut of Hohenwald, Grace Revitalife, WMLR 99.5 FM/1230 AM, Lewis County Herald, and Outside the Box Printing & Promotions.
