The Lewis County High School Panthers traveled to Centerville to take on the Hickman County Bulldogs in the “Battle for the Brown Jug” on Friday night, September 8th.

Lewis County flexed its offensive muscle early in the opening quarter and finished off a scoring drive with a 9-yard touchdown pass from Brycen McDonald to Chaz Sparkman and the two hooked up again on the conversion to stake the Panthers to an early 8-0 lead.

McDonald would find Fletch Kelsey later in the period on a 38-yard touchdown and hit Sparkman again on the conversion to put Lewis County up 16-0 in the first quart...
