Trevor Osborne, shown here, apprehended this potentially 70 year old subject traveling on Swan Avenue near Industrial Avenue Tuesday morning, September 26th. The subject, an African Spurred Tortoise, is thought to be an escapee or intentionally let go. He weighed approximately 60 lbs at the time of apprehension and was moving at a surprisingly slow rate of speed. The tortoise, found to be in no violation of any law, was placed with a foster home that has experience with his kind.
