The days and nights will be cooler for the next week or so but we are getting into the winter type of weather and I guess we will learn to live with it for the weather is one thing we cannot do anything to change. The days according to the weather people will be in the upper forties and low fifties but the nights will be in the low thirties and even maybe below.

Those I know of who are sick either at home, in nursing facilities or in the hospitals are: Kasey Baker, Jerry Barber, Joyce Barnes, Colene Beasley, Lynn Brown, Linda Butler, Sara Carroll, Gertie Carroll, Spencer Clark, Robert and Pat Dickson ,Jerry Edwards, Joe Garner, Ophelia Green, Darrell Hinson, Wanda Holloway, Debbie Johnston, Florine Johnston, Bobby Kilpatrick, Tom Kilpatrick, Denny King, Monette King, Claire Elizabeth Mayberry, Ronnie Lewis, Doug Miller, Howard Miller, Jackie McFall, Jerry Morton, Carla Murphy, Joy Orman, Roger Pace, Debbie Pierce, Harry Runions, Tina Sharp, Bobby Simmons, Johnnie Faye Skelton, Terry Stutts, Jeff Tatum, Diane Williams, Doug Williams, and Annette Williams. Prayers for these and others who are sick and suffering from some ailments.


We wish a happy birthday to Cameron and Casey Tripp on the 6th, to Martha Hensley the 8th, Blake Chappell, Dorothy Warf and Lee Henderson the 10th, to Dana Sims the 11th, Brogan Barnes the 12th, Eddie Holt the 13th, and Zander Tripp the 14th. We wish for these a very happy birthday and many more years to celebrate life.

Happy anniversary to Doug and Debbie Johnston the 8th, and to Bobby and Sara Carroll h 12th, we wish for these couples and very happy anniversary and many more years to celebrate life together.

Prayers for all those who have lost loved ones this past week. These are the ones I know about Loretta Boucher, Laverna Gallaher Griggs, Gary Lynn Ledlow, Jason Daniel Sood, Kevin Scott Davis, Denise Rachella Sturgell Svoboda, Raymond Paul Tanner, James May Hugh Sisco, Matha Jo He3nsley, June Elouise Adams, Brandi Dawn Eaton and Glen Edward England. . Prayers for these families and any others about which I may not know.

As noted before the month of December has many events starting this week with the Christmas Parade on Thursday night, then Friday night will begin the Christmas in Hohenwald including many activities for all ages ice skating, rides all thorough town from the Gazebo, many activities at the Community Building in the park and many other things. Be sure to see the many lighted scenes located in the park and other areas of town. Check the local paper for other events during the month.

Prayers for you and your family during this season and hope it brings you health and happiness. Be sure to remember the reason for the season and take time to thank God for all we have and help those who are less fortunate.
