Portia (Poke) Lynn Moore, 78, of Pleasant View, and formerly Tomah, Wisconsin, passed away peacefully in her home on December 6th with family by her side. Portia was born at Baptist Hospital in Nashville, to Finous Montgomery Holt and Jean (Yates) Holt.

She was raised in Hohenwald and Liberty Grove, Tennessee, and graduated from Loretto High School.

After graduating, she moved to California where she met Roger Moore, the love of her life. After marrying, they moved to Wisconsin in 1972 where she raised her family. Portia worked at the VA Hospital in Tomah until she retired in 2003. Portia then...
