Lewis County Herald - Serving Hohenwald, Lewis County Tennessee Since 1898

The City of Hohenwald Police Department hosted its Third Annual Blue Christmas at the Lewis County Senior Citizens Center on December 14th. The HPD feels it's important to serve residents with the most life experience and sometimes get overlooked around the holidays.

This year 75 people were treated to a great meal, gifts, live music, and fellowship. "Our officers look forward to Blue Christmas and always hope to make it special for the Senior Citizens. And every year without fail, we feel like we are the ones given a gift," said Hohenwald Police Chief Keven Carroll,

Chief Carroll also thanked those who help each year to make Blue Christmas a success: The City of Hohenwald, Hope Hohenwald, 4-H Extension Office, Hohenwald Dispatch, and all of the awesome volunteers.
