Other than a thunderstorm with lightning and thunder and some hard rain, the weather has been nice except for the wind which has been pretty high most days and you can forget keeping your hair in place. The nights were mostly in the upper thirties and forties and that is really good.

Those I know of who are sick either at home, in nursing facilities or in the hospitals are: Kasey Baker, Joyce Barnes, Colene Beasley, Linda Butler, Gertie Carroll, Spencer Clark, Robert and Pat Dickson, Paula Dyer, Natalie Eastep, Joy Franks, Ophelia Green, Darrell Hinson, Wanda Holloway, Faye Holt, Denny King, Monette King, Claire Elizabeth Mayberry, Helen McCann, Brittany Mash, Doug Miller, Howard Miller, Jackie McFall, Joy Orman, Roger Pace, Debbie Pierce, Harry Runions, Marsha Runions, Johnnie Faye Skelton, Ann Spencer, Terry Stutts, Jeff Tatum, Diane Williams, Doug Williams, and Annette Williams. Prayers for these and others who are sick.

We wish a happy birthday to Dustin Stutts the 25th, Chad Clayton and Kristy Tripp March 2nd, Alice Hinson and Marsha Runions the 4th, Neci Baker the 6th, and Jackie Holt the 7th. Wishing for all these a very happy birthday and many more years to celebrate life.

Happy late birthday to Jaxson Hinson, we were able to attend his party and the children really enjoyed it. There was a bouncy house and children really enjoy those no matter where they are. Everyone there seemed to have a great time and was great to be with family and friends at the event.

Many young people are beginning to get ready for spring ball season, we wish them a great time enjoying the sport and learning more about how to be better teammates.

Prayers for all those who have lost loved ones this past week. These are the ones I know about Tammy Wynette Spencer, Jerry Thomas Shelton, Branon Elgie Marrs, Carolyn Faye Worley Brown, Therea Denise Holland, and Don Rosevelt Breece. Prayers for these families and any others about which I may not know.

The bumble bees are beginning to come out so beware when outside and don’t step on them if you don’t have proper shoes on. I have seen a few honeybees around also. Shouldn’t be long until the hummingbirds will also make an appearance. I love to watch them as they compete on the feeders, they seem to want to be alone to enjoy the sweet nectar. If you haven’t cleaned your feeders yet, be sure to do so and use water and vinegar because some soap residue can be harmful to them.

The frogs have been chirping a lot lately, especially at night and we have had several showers for them to enjoy. This is the time of year when many animals begin the process of getting homes built and finding food sources close to where they are.

Wishing for you and yours a very happy week and days to come that you will be able to be with family and enjoy the fellowship that it brings.
