Lewis County donates anti-litter books to libraries

The Tennessee Department of Transportation provides a Litter Grant to county governments across Tennessee each year. While Lewis County uses the majority of its funds to hire a Litter Control Specialist to pick up trash along the highways and roads in our community, a portion of that money is also allocated for educational purposes.
Lewis County Litter Grant Supervisor Johnny Clayton recently purchased several copies of the book "Nancy and Sluggo Love Tennessee" to donate to various libraries in the community.
