The Lewis County Extension office announced they are now offering assistance to individuals seeking a career and are ready to go to work.

The office has partnered with the Department of Labor and Workforce Development to assist with expenses associated with extended learning and employment opportunities. “We are here to help you with expenses such as gas cards, childcare, uniforms, testing fees, books, and any equipment or supplies needed for training and work,” FCS/4-H Extension Agent II-County Director Shelly Ray stated.
