Second MLEC Crew Heads to Louisiana

A second Meriwether Lewis Electric Cooperative team left Wednesday, September 16, bound for Louisiana.
They will relieve the crew that has been there since September 9 helping Beauregard Electric Cooperative, Inc. (BECi) return power to its members following Hurricane Laura.
After three weeks of restoration efforts, BECi still has 18,000 without power. Making the trip are, from left, Aaron Hinson, Hickman County; Jason Hinson, Perry County; Timmy Boyd, Lewis County; Barry Wilson, Humphreys County; and Blake Nolen, Houston County.
