Dr. Joey Hensley, Senator for the 28th district, has announced his candidacy for another term in the Tennessee State Senate. He currently represents the citizens of Maury, Lawrence, Lewis, Wayne, Giles, and Perry counties.

Dr. Hensley is a physician who has practiced medicine in Hohenwald for the past 34 years. A native of Lewis County, he graduated from Lewis County High School and Columbia State Community College where he was selected as one of their top 40 graduates from their first 40 years.
