Jeffery Wayne Downey, age 51 of Lafayette, passed away November 7, 2020 at Vanderbilt Medical Center in Nashville.

Mr. Downey was born in Nashville to Carlos and Carolyn (Nutt) Downey on February 9, 1969.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Burton and Zula Downey and Ivan and Georgia Nutt.

Jeffery owned and operated his own trucking business. He loved his family more than anything. He was described as a loving husband and father, a wonderful son, and a very protective brother.
