Shop Hohenwald First

December 10, 2020

Hohenwald's Downtown Merchants Association, with assistance from Hohenwald/Lewis County Chamber of Commerce, will be extending their holiday shopping hours to promote "Stop, Shop, Grow - Shop Hohenwald First."

The Shop, This & That, Hohenwald Flower Shop, Hohenwald Marketplace and others will remain open from 4 to 7 p.m. Thursday and Friday, December 10-11 and December 17-18 for your shopping convenience. Vendors will also be set up in the breezeway by the Elephant Discovery Center.

On Friday, December 11 from 5 until 8 p.m., participating merchants will be holding a Hohenwald Treasure Hunt. Each store will have a unique item hidden inside their store.

Rules are to find that item, snap a pic of it and proceed to your next stop. After you have visited all the stores, you show the attendant, at your last stop, all your pictures to verify. There will then be a form to fill out with your name and phone number. A drawing for the winner will take place on Saturday, December 12 at 12 noon live from The Shop. You do not have to be present to win, but you must claim your prize by Monday, December 14 before The Shop closes at 6 pm. If no one claims the prize of $200 cash, another name will be drawn. Each store will have instructions on how to proceed with the treasure hunt.

Businesses participating in the Treasure Hunt are: The Shop, This & That Gifts and More located past Walmart on the right, Hohenwald Flowers, Janet's Memories; Sparky and Ringo's from 5-7 p.m., and Charmed Salon from 5-7 p.m.
