I never thought I’d see the day
They call it taking a knee,
No respect for Old Glory
And sometimes none for you and me.
I never thought I’d see the day
Abortion on demand
Precious life given by God,
Taken away by man.
I never thought I’d see the day
When I think on years gone by,
Business closed on Sunday
A day of worship for you and I.
I never thought I’d see the day
No Bible reading in school,
I guess that’s why so few today
Live by the Golden Rule.
My prayer: Lord, please forgive and help us
We are so greatly blessed.
With each New Day you give
