Hohenwald native Chase Gilkey had dreamed of being a Marine since he was a little boy. That dream came true back in 2002 when he enlisted in the early entry program while he was still a senior at Lewis County High School.

Fast forward 19 years and he has exceeded all expectations! Knowing a small town boy can go on to achieve such greatness for not only his hometown but for the United States of America is truly inspiring.
