On Sunday afternoon we finally received some much-needed rain arriving during the thunderstorm in the early afternoon. Not sure how much we got but every little bit helps when it has been dry for so long. Gardens have still been producing but it is a wonder because it has been so dry for several weeks. Many in the areas where there are creeks have been enjoying a cooling dip in the waters that flow so freely and are usually very cooling for there are so many springs that flow into them.
