Thankful that there were not any bad storms this past week as had been in the past weeks in the area and in other counties and states as well. The nights are from cool to cold, but the days have been nice and even on Sunday it was warm enough to sit outside and watch the children as they hunted eggs and played around the yard. On Saturday the young people had an egg hunt and made their own little pizzas, but it was raining so we hunted eggs inside, but no one seemed to mind. The children had fun and that is what parties are for and we remember the real reason for the Easter holidays.

Those I know of who are sick either at home, in nursing facilities or in the hospitals are: Joyce Barnes, Larry Bates, Colene Beasley, Elizabeth Boggs, Dorothy Carroll, Gertie Carroll, Kathleen Carroll, Robby Carroll, Spencer Clark, Peggy Cook, Pat Dickson, Verlin George, Ophelia Green, Calvin Harris, Eddie Holt, Shirley Howe, Monette King, Hannah Kat Love, Claire Elizabeth Mayberry, Helen McCann, Richie McCann, Doug Miller, Howard Miller, Jackie McFall, Carla Murphy, Lonnie Odom, Joy Orman, Roger Pace, Debbie Pierce, Sandra Pogue, Mike Runions, Russell Runions, T R Runions, Peggy Sims, Johnnie Faye Skelton, Diane Williams, Annette Williams and Selina Young. Remember these in your daily prayers that they might be better and for any others that need prayers.

We wish a happy birthday Diana Holt the 13th, Taylor Kauffman the 14th, Cody Owen, Kenley Depriest, and Gary Reeves the 15th, Jennifer Beasley the 18th, Ellen Henderson, Glenda Roden, Lance Odom, and Leanna Bates the 19th, and Ricky Carroll and Heather Odom the 21st wishing for these a very happy birthday and many more years to celebrate life.

Prayers for all those who have lost loved ones this past week. These are the ones I know about Jarrod Reagon, Todd Bates, Henryetta Dotson, Brenda Joy Moore, Darrell Clifton Sullivan, Juanita Sue Springer Garner, and Thomas Wayne Gilbert. Prayers for all these families and any others about which we may not know.

This year is passing away swiftly and we are in the fourth month and almost to the end of another school year. I know children are excited and some will be for a few days and then want to go back to be with their friends. Also, ball season is going strong despite the rain we have had and practices cancelled because of it. I appreciate that we have these sports in the spring and summer for children of all ages for this gives them some outdoor activities to do instead of sitting around playing tablets or phones or watching TV and out library has many special programs during the spring and summer months that children and adults enjoy.

Praying that your family will have a great week and take time to help others if you can do so, and a call or card would also be nice. Enjoy the warmer weather and the beauty of the outside as flowers and shrubs and trees are in bloom.
