MLEC shares 2023 vegetation management schedule

Meriwether Lewis Electric Cooperative is working to keep your lights on and the public safe through its vegetation management program currently underway.
The tentative schedule began with tree trimming in three counties for power and broadband reliability. Crews plan to finish in Houston and Lewis County by September and will be working in Humphreys County for the remainder of 2023. (A map of impacted areas will be made available on mlec.com.) Crews will also treat fast-growing hotspots across the five-county service area as needed.
