Series: Gordonsburg | Story 147

The weather has still been hot in the days and cool at night which is good for me. We did have some thunderstorms this past week and weekend with high winds and some places got quiet a bit of rain and others did not get as much and some not hardly any rain.

Those I know of who are sick either at home, in nursing facilities or in the hospitals are: Joyce Barnes, Kenley Bates, Colene Beasley, Lois Bennett, Gertie Carroll, Kathleen Carroll, Spencer Clark, Peggy Cook, Pat Dickson, Callie Garrison, Ophelia Green, Carolyn Hargrave, Calvin Harris, Shirley Howe, Monette King, Claire Elizabeth Mayberry, Ronnie Lewis, Doug Miller, Howard Miller, Jackie McFall, Thomas Marrow, Carla Murphy, Beverly Sue Novogurski, Lonnie Odom, Joy Orman, Roger Pace, Debbie Pierce, Mike Runions, Russell Runions, Johnnie Faye Skelton, Terry Stutts, Jeff Tatum, Diane Williams, and Annette Williams. Remember these in your daily prayers that they might be better and for any others that need prayers.

We wish a happy birthday to Lindsey Casias the 12th, Donna Qualls the 14th, Eric Hillhouse the 18th, Teresa Miller the 21st, Howard Miller, Oliver Bates, Kim Buchanan the 22nd. We wish for these a very happy birthday and many more years to celebrate life.

Happy anniversary to Terry and Tammy Stutts June 18th, we wish for this couple a very happy anniversary and many more years to celebrate life together.

Prayers for all those who have lost loved ones this past week. These are the ones I know about Betty Carolyn Crafton Boles, Lora Ellen Tripp Henderson, Gladys Lee Clayborn Quinn and Eleanor Elizabeth Hurst. Prayers for all these families and any others about which we may not know.

Remember all the VBS services going on in the area and also the special events at the library. These events are really enjoyable for all the children and give parents a break from the normal duties for the day.

Prayer for your family and hope you have a great week and enjoy the beautiful world that God has prepared for us to enjoy especially all the birds that sing, and some have different colors which is very bright making it a treat to see them each day and listen to their songs. Even the woodpeckers which many have red heads are fun to watch although they are quiet noisy at times.
