Still having really hot days and of course when it is like that there are chances for thunderstorms, and we have had them around the area and some rain, and some places got more than others. The rain is welcome as it has been really dry. Stay cool and hydrated and watch for those pop-up thunderstorms.

Prayers for all those who have lost loved ones this past week. These are the ones I know about Thelma Nelson, Mark H. The Lewis County Girl Scouts had a camp in and sleepover at the park on Friday night and Saturday morning. They all had a great time and enjoyed tie dying shirts in the late evening on Friday and a pajama fashion show after they were dressed for bed. Although it was hot, the children are resilient, and all seemed to have a great time, I think the adults were the ones who didn’t get much sleep.
