Another week with hot days and nice cooler nights and some scattered showers which is always welcome. It definitely seems like fall with the leaves falling and the cooler night temperatures. I am sure we will have more summer weather, but this is welcome for most people.

Those I know of who are sick either at home, in nursing facilities or in the hospitals are: Kasey Baker, Joyce Barnes, Colene Beasley, Lois Bennett, Gertie Carroll, Spencer Clark, Robert and Pat Dickson, Ophelia Green, James Hammack, Carolyn Hargrave, Betty Hasty, Darrell Hinson, Wanda Holloway, Linda Hornal, Shirley Howe, Debbie Johnston, Florine Johnston, Denny King, Monette King, Claire Elizabeth Mayberry, Ronnie Lewis, Doug Miller, Howard Miller, Jackie McFall, Carla Murphy, Beverly Sue Novogurski, Lonnie Odom, Joy Orman, Roger Pace, Debbie Pierce, Jill Rankin, Harry Runions, Mike Runions, Russell Runions, Bill Seiber, Johnnie Faye Skelton, Terry Stutts, Jeff Tatum, Mary Ann Whitehead, Diane Williams, Doug Williams, and Annette Williams. Remember these in your daily prayers that they might be better and for any others that need prayers.

We wish a happy birthday to Melissa Keller, Susan Holt, and Kathy Sims the 10th, Brennan Holt the 11th, Danny Holt, Judy Crowell, and Jeff Taner the 12th, and Bill Seiber the 15th. We wish for these a very happy birthday and many more years to celebrate life.

Happy anniversary to William and Helen McCann September 13th, may this couple have many more happy years to celebrate life together.

Prayers for all those who have lost loved ones this past week. These are the ones I know about Clyde Mike Holt, Susan E. Wheeler Combs, Jesse Eldridge Staggs, Mary Claudene Nutt, Steve Marshall Hannah, Eleanor Aydelott Hamilton, and Ruth Ann Eillen Blanchard. Prayers for these families and any others about which we may not know.

With the changing weather comes an added item to yard work, the raking or mowing of leaves and since it has been so dry they are really falling. The wind that blows from time to time brings them down like rain drops falling.

Miles and Zeldon, sons of Maysi Davis enjoyed a birthday party at the Tin Pen Alley in Columbia, there is so much to do there, and they also have good food. Wishing for them a great year to come and happy birthday.

The fair is over for another year and there was much going on in the park on nights when the cars were doing their things and people doing their thing and sometimes not being too nice about it. There were also some injuries during some of the activities but those who attended seemed to have a great time and guess there were lots of choices for food with all the food courts they had. There was not much rain during the week which is usually a time when we get rain.

Prayers for your family to have a great week and enjoy the time you have with family and friends. May you days be filled with sunshine and happiness.
