September 14, 2023

We have had some rain during the last week, but rain is always welcome. The nights and mornings have been cooler, which I think most people enjoy immensely. It has been like fall of the year and we are nearing the beginning of fall, September 23, 2023.

Those I know of who are sick either at home, in nursing facilities or in the hospitals are: Kasey Baker, Joyce Barnes, Colene Beasley, Lois Bennett, Lynn Brown, Gertie Carroll, Spencer Clark, Robert and Pat Dickson, Ophelia Green, James Hammack, Carolyn Hargrave, Betty Hasty, Darrell Hinson, Wanda Holloway, Linda Hornal, Shirley Howe, Debbie Johnston, Florine Johnston, Bobby Kilpatrick, Denny King, Monette King, Claire Elizabeth Mayberry, Ronnie Lewis, Doug Miller, Howard Miller, Jackie McFall, Carla Murphy, Beverly Sue Novogurski, Lonnie Odom, Joy Orman, Roger Pace, Debbie Pierce, Jill Rankin, Harry Runions, Mike Runions, Russell Runions, Bill Seiber, Johnnie Faye Skelton, Terry Stutts, Jeff Tatum, Mary Ann Whitehead, Diane Williams, Doug Williams, and Annette Williams. Remember these in your daily prayers that they might be better and for any others that need prayers.

We wish a happy birthday to MaKenzi Parrott, Cathey Roberson and Grey Cotham the 16th, Cash Creasy, Rhett Staggs, and Daniell Haygood the 17th, Jamie Russell the 18th, Raelynn Eastep and Larry Hinson the 19th, Kenneth Carroll and Lyra Kaye Franklin the 20th, and Steven Johnston the 21st. We wish for these a very happy birthday and many more years to celebrate life.

Happy anniversary to Robbie and Dana Carroll the 17th, Mark and Abbey McDonald the 22nd, and Brad and Diana Holt the 23rd, may these couples have many more happy years to celebrate life together.

Prayers for all those who have lost loved ones this past week. These are the ones I know about Clyde Michael Holt, Barry Lynn LaRue, Briana Lee Graves, Linda Louise Barber, Mark Ray Morton Sr., and Donald Ray Lampley. Prayers for these families and any others about which we may not know.

The Lewis County October Heritage Festival will soon be here and there are so many things to do at that time, watch the paper for notices of what will be expected so you can plan the things you want to participate in.

Prayers for you and your family in the coming days that you may be blessed with happiness and health and time to enjoy your family.
