Still fall weather but the nights have been in the upper thirties and days only in the seventies, which is nice but cool. I guess the children being out of school they will be looking for jackets for the early mornings if they are going to be outside.

Those I know of who are sick either at home, in nursing facilities or in the hospitals are: Kasey Baker, Joyce Barnes, Colene Beasley, Lynn Brown, Gertie Carroll, Spencer Clark, Robert and Pat Dickson, Ophelia Green, James Hammack, Carolyn Hargrave, Darrell Hinson, Wanda Holloway, Debbie Johnston, Florine Johnston, Bobby Kilpatrick, Denny King, Monette King, David Love, Claire Elizabeth Mayberry, Ronnie Lewis, Doug Miller, Howard Miller, Jackie McFall, Carla Murphy, Joy Orman, Roger Pace, Debbie Pierce, Jill Rankin, Harry Runions, Johnnie Faye Skelton, Terry Stutts, Jeff Tatum, Diane Williams, Doug Williams, and Annette Williams. Several in the area have had covid but most are better, hopeful that this doesn’t get like it did before and so many sick that many things get cancelled. Be safe when you are in large crowds of people. Remember these in your daily prayers that they might be better and for any others that need prayers.

We wish a happy birthday to Kaitlin Mears the 13th, James Hinson the 14th, Randall Hinson, Nicole Flippo and my daughters, Selina Young and Jeanea Warf the 15th, Baylee Clayton the 16th, Dana Caroll, Jeremy Carroll, and Kevin Haigh the 17th, Brett Cole Odom and Mary Ann Whitehead the 20th. We wish for these a very happy birthday and many more years to celebrate life.

Happy anniversary to Johnny and Polly Edwards the 14th, and Ricky and Helen Akridge the 19th, we wish for these many more years to celebrate life together.

Prayers for all those who have lost loved ones this past week. These are the ones I know about Linda Diane Green, Michael Shawn Schlagle, William Jefferson Logan Jr., Adam Turtle, Doris Marie Morrison, Carolyn Faye Carroll, Billy Faye Bennett, Jo Ann Coble Lawson, and Hurbert Lonnie Odom. Prayers for these families and any others about which we may not know.

Children are out of school this week and the October Heritage Festival will be going on so lots to do and see in the area. Hopefully you will be able to get out and enjoy some of the festivities. Many use this week to take a little vacation and if you are traveling be careful and aware of the surroundings as you travel along.

For those who ordered Fall Product from the Girl Scouts in the area those will be delivered on Saturday and will be sorted and if possible, when the leader calls you pick them up as soon as possible because even in cool weather chocolate products might melt and no one wants to receive melted chocolate products. Thanks for all your help we had a good sale.

Prayers for you and your family to have a great week and enjoy the changing scenes around as the leaves are really an array of many colors and falling fast as the fall weather and lack of rain causes them to fall faster than normal.
