The past week was much better than the last one although we had lots of rain, some hard and with thunderstorms and other just showers along off and on some days. I am just glad that the snow and ice are gone and people can return to a more normal life with children in school, people able to get to work and some sunshine during the days with warmer temperatures. Would like to thank Doug Johnston who came and took the girls four-wheeler riding and some sled riding while the snow was on the ground, they had a great time even if it was cold.

Those I know of who are sick either at home, in nursing facilities or in the hospitals are: Kasey Baker, Joyce Barnes, Colene Beasley, Linda Butler, Gertie Carroll, Spencer Clark, Robert and Pat Dickson, Paula Dyer, Ophelia Green, Darrell Hinson, Wanda Holloway, Florine Johnston, Denny King, Monette King, Claire Elizabeth Mayberry, Brittany Mash, Doug Miller, Howard Miller, Jackie McFall, Joy Orman, Roger Pace, Debbie Pierce, Harry Runions, Johnnie Faye Skelton, Terry Stutts, Jeff Tatum, Diane Williams, Doug Williams, and Annette Williams. Prayers for these and others who are sick and suffering from some ailments.

We wish a happy Sherry Clayton February 4th, Wendy Runions the 6th, Jeremy Odom the 7th, Shasta Carroll the 9th, and Amanda Odom and Kaylie Webb the 10th. Wishing for all these a very happy birthday and many more years to celebrate life.

Prayers for all those who have lost loved ones this past week. These are the ones I know about Bertha Jean Anderson, Stephen Joel Stutts, Michael Burgess, Alton Brent Staggs, April Christina Sensing, Brend G. Scott, Grace Capps Shepherd, and Mary Lorraine Bates. One other I know of who is related to several in Lewis County is Mattie Louise Robison Burns who was married to Joseph Burns, she lived in Linden. Prayers for these families and any others about which I may not know.

Was really good to be able to go back to the church building to meet with the church, missed this when the snow was on. Know that many of you were also shut in and that is no fun for anyone. This is one reason we need to remember those who are shut -in whether it be for health reasons or some other and take special care to check on them and call, send cards or visit if we have the opportunity.

Prayers for your family that you might be healthy and happy during the coming days and weeks.
