The weather this past week has been really warm for this time of year with temperatures reaching seventy a day or two and in the upper sixties three- or four-days with sunshine most days. I for one will not complain for I enjoyed the warmer temperatures even though the days sometimes brought scattered showers, even the nights were in the forties which is great after the minus zero temperatures a few weeks ago.

You hear many talk about the groundhog seeing or not seeing his shadow but I never have understood how a groundhog in the northern states could predict weather for the southern states especially Tennessee where our weather is not predictable by anything or anyone from day to day.

Happy Valentines Day to everyone and hope you have a great day and enjoy the ones around you who love you so much. Sometimes we seem to forget the family who are closest or maybe take them for granted.

Those I know of who are sick either at home, in nursing facilities or in the hospitals are: Kasey Baker, Joyce Barnes, Colene Beasley, Linda Butler, Gertie Carroll, Spencer Clark, Robert and Pat Dickson, Paula Dyer, Ophelia Green, Darrell Hinson, Wanda Holloway, Florine Johnston, Denny King, Monette King, Claire Elizabeth Mayberry, Brittany Mash, Doug Miller, Howard Miller, Jackie McFall, Joy Orman, Roger Pace, Debbie Pierce, Harry Runions, Johnnie Faye Skelton, Terry Stutts, Jeff Tatum, Diane Williams, Doug Williams, and Annette Williams. Kaitlynn Tripp had a case of covid this past week but is now out of quarantine and doing good. Prayers for these and others who are sick and suffering from some ailments.

We wish a happy Louise “Lu Lu” Runions the 10th, Pat Johnston and Marty Carroll the 11th, shelly Owen the 12th Geneva Grover, Niki Lewis, and Regan Carroll the 13th, Diana Runions the 14th, and Danny Barrier the 15th. Wishing for all these a very happy birthday and many more years to celebrate life.

Prayers for all those who have lost loved ones this past week. These are the ones I know about Gary Lynn Walker, Jimmy Roberts, Leonard Pearson Maddon, Stanley Denton Daniel, and Linda Kay Copley. Prayers for these families and any others about which I may not know.

Let us always remember those who are less fortunate and maybe unable to be out and make sure we check on them from time to time to be sure they have the things they need and maybe just to let them know we care. It is always good to let others know we care for sometime we may be feeling low or lonely and wish for someone to contact us just to say hello.

Girl Scout cookies are in and there will be booth sales at various places around town so if you would like to have some check with some of our leaders or see the girls you know that are Girl Scouts. Thanks to those who preordered we have had a great year so far.

Prayers that you will have a great week and your life be filled with health and happiness and those around you show they care for you. It is sad to feel lonely and that no one cares and we need to be an example to others to show love and care.
