Serving Hohenwald, Lewis County Tennessee Since 1898
Once again last week, the weather has been a big influence on the area as Wednesday afternoon there was hail in some places about the size of a baseball. During the thunderstorm that brought the hail a large tree fell just below my house and several on Claude Carroll Rd and on Little Swan Creek toward highway 412 were without power for several hours. The power was restored thanks to MLEC at about eight pm but the internet and phones were out until Thursday about noon. There were lots of tree limbs and debris around the area and we were under a tornado watch most of the afternoon and evening.
