Well it is a peaceful fall morning here in our little valley. It is raining, the wind is blowing, and the leaves are falling and it is cool.

The cats have had their breakfast and a bowl of good warm milk and are back in their bed. I warmed their blanket and now they are snuggled down for a nice nap.

I’m having my second cup of coffee and really enjoying this morning. This morning I had the gas fireplace on for a few minutes, just enough to get the nights chill out of the house, but we have got the old wood heating stove ready to build a fire in it.
