As one of my great-grandchildren described to me the other day as we were going somewhere, the forest is decorated with many colors such as yellow, brown, orange, green and other colors. We all know that now they are falling off quickly, you can remove them today and tomorrow they are there again. It is a beautiful time of year and so many changes coming so quickly. The temperatures help this change along as the temperature dipped into the thirties this past weekend, some even had frost on Sunday morning.

Those I know of who are sick either at home, in nursing facilities or in the hospitals are: Connie Bonner, L.C. Bowen, Timmy Bennett, Bobby Carroll, Dorothy Carroll, Kathleen Carroll, Madison Chappell, Spencer Clark, Fada Clay, Colleen Farr, Wilburn Franks, Malcom George, Ophelia Green, Calvin Harris, Alice Hinson, Shirley Howe, Leon Hunter, Faye Johnston, Monette King, Bruce Ligon, Sherry Love, Claire Elizabeth Mayberry, Linda Mercer, Helen McCann, Mike McCann, Howard Miller, Jackie McFall, Lonnie Odom, Pam Pullman, Hattie Roberts, Mona Runions, Russell Runions, Roy Sharp, Joe Shipp, Larry Skelton, Nell Skelton, Vickie Skelton, Jim Walker, Sharon White, Diane Williams, and Annette Williams. Please pray for these in your daily prayers that they might be better and for any others that need prayers.

We wish a happy birthday to Eden Stutts the 10th, Randall Hinson, Selina Young, Jeanea Warf and Nichole Flippo the 15th, Baylee Clayton the 16th, Dana Carroll, Kevin Haigh and Jeremy Carroll the 17th, and Brett Odom and Mary Ann Whitehead the 20th. Wishing for these a very happy birthday and many more years to celebrate life.

Happy anniversary to Johnny and Polly Edwards the 14th, to Ricky and Helen Akridge the 19th and Darrell and Diana Runions the 21st. We wish for these couples a very long life to celebrate life together.

Prayers for all those who have lost loved ones this past week. Those I know of include Betty Fay Reed Odom, Raylan Lee Carroll, Earl DeWayne Kimberly, Kevin Nathaniel Crumpton, Albren A. Copley, Joe Thomas Wales, Kasi Renee Sullivan ValDez, Lorene Mathis, Kathy Thomason, Billy Clay Rochelle, and William “Neal” O”Neal Isbell. Prayers for all these families and any others about which we may not know.

The children had another holiday from school this week for parent teacher conferences. This is important for the children and parents for it gives them the opportunity to see where they can help their children with the things they may be falling short in.

Prayers for you and your family to have a great week and that you might be able to spend time with your relatives that you might not see much. Wishing you health and happiness as the days pass and don’t forget those who are less fortunate and cannot get out and do the things they would like to do.
